This is my first visit and post, so forgive me if I'm missing something.
I just bought a OFA URC-6690 remote. I'm trying to get it to work on a sony DVD Recorder (RDR-GX300). I've tried every code in the book with no luck and did the search too. However, I was able to program my stereo and cable box, and also while searching, by stereo shut off, so I'm pretty sure I was doing it right. I have a mail into the company. Any suggestions from the folks here??

Did you try codes DVD 1070, 1069, or 1033? These are listed in the ofa urc-8820 for sony DVDR's.

I just tried, and no go. I had 1033 already. I'm sure I'm doing it right as I got the codes in for my stereo and cable box.

How about code dvd 0864? After that I have no other codes, sorry.

Nope, didn't work either. Thanks though. Does anyone here know if their customer support is any good?? I have an email into them
