Bought a brand new Kameleon 4, OneforAll.

Just wondering, is it possible to program i.e. a amp/receiver under another device? Or do I have to return the remote and get a remote that supports a amp/receiver specific?

Please advise.

Marc.

If there is no AUX or AUD device key, then you can't program an audio code.

Ok, thanks, then I'll exchange it for the 6 devices version.

I have a samsung digital terrestial receiver (STB), under what kind of device I should find my code?

manthony,

You should find a code for a STB under Satellite (SAT). I have a Hughes and Philips STBs and found the SAT codes for my OFA URC-8810. Samsung's satellite receiver code in my "manual" is 1109.

Welcome to the forum.

If you are still looking for a remote control, I would suggest getting a OneforAll remote that supports the JP1 programming language. It makes programming fairly simple once you get the programs (free) and the cable interface. (Note: I made mine from instructions available.) You know whether the remote is JP1 compatible by removing the battery cover. If it has 6 pins (3 pins in 2 rows), then it is JP1 compatible.

Best of luck.
