You didn't mention in your post what remote you have, so there is no way to know if it is in your remote but try 0030. ([Link: hifi-remote.com])

Unfortunately, in my experience Akai has not always been very consistent with the IR codes they use in their products.

Have you tried using the code search method to step through all the TV codes in the 15-2133? If you did and have no seen any response, my only other suggestion is to call the customer service number and ask them to download any additonal Akai codes not in your remote so you can try those as well.

Anybody have any luck with programming the Viore code into a Charter Moxi cable box remote? Sure would be nice to use the Charter/Moxi control to turn off and on/volume the Viore Plasma TV.

Akai's "Voire" sets use the NEC1 protocol with a device code of 96.157

I've checked my files of OFA codes and there isn't a match for that, so no OFA or UEI remotes that I know have a built in code that will work Voire TV sets.

However, I have programmed a bunch of remotes for Akai's tech support that will work the Voire sets, so let me find out if these remotes are available for purchase. Alternatively, I can load the codes into an OFA remote myself, which I can sell to you if needed.

Your post doesn't make sense, what do you (or they) mean when you say their codes don't work? The Voire TV sets have remotes and those remotes send signals, so it's just a matter of capturing the signals to see what they look like, which I have done.

Is this the Voire remote in question...

We used the code 0054 on the Cox DVR box and so far everything is working except for the volume. You might try it.

I too, need the numeric code to program into the DirecTV remote control for my Viore 42" widescreen Plasma TV, model # PDP4210EA. I have emailed Wal-Mart corp. @ Bentonville, AR, asking for this code # in conjunction with DirecTV's handheld remote.
For what it's worth, for you who are Direct Dish Network satellite dish customers, you may wish to try using the following three-digit code numbers which are intended for the brand Akai, assuming Akai is the manufacturer of the Viore brand: 570, 573, 659, 660.
Good luck,
Papa Joe

P.S. DirecTV's on-screen programming does list numerous electronic manufacturing firms including Akai. The 5-digit codes for Akai are as follows: 10702, 10030,10672. 'Tried programming these codes into the DirecTV remote for the above described Viore model ----nothing.
