I wasn't sure exactly where to put this thread because I am currently using a OFA 6131nw to control my Samsung SIR-S4120R D*Tivo (I do not have the original Peanut remote). I am using PVR 0618 to control the D*Tivo. Last night I picked up a Pioneer DVR-231 DVD burner and it is "controlling" the D*Tivo which is quite frustrating. The Pioneer remote p/n is VXX2981 if that helps. Is there another code that I should use for the D*Tivo? What are my options?

Thank you!

remedy for this is to change the remote address of the DVDR, then it will no longer control the dtivo. But the problem then, your universal remote won't have a code for the alternate address of the DVDR. When you receive your urc-200, you can just teach it the commands, but as for the 6131nw, its kaput.

I think that my best option for now is to change the remote address of the Pioneer DVDR. It will probably be returned very soon, as will the 6131nw. Can you please tell me how to change the remote address?
