Hi Guys,
The standard motion sensor as you know is pathetic and your remote will eat batteries like crazy. You can opt to remove the sensor completely or like me replace it with 2 mercury tilt swicthes. They are about $1 each and once fitted the remote will only light up if the remote is phyically picked up by the user. Any good electronics shop should be able to supply the part. Installation is very straight forward. Once you open the remote just remove the sensor labaled "SW1" and fit the two new tilt swicthes. I used two so the remote will light up no matter what angle you pick it up. You can use one if you like but they are only $1 each so why not use two :0) If anyone needs instructions to do it yourself, please email me at [email protected]

Cheers
TJ
