Any device can be set to any other type of device. To restore the Tv:

1. press TV device key
2. press and hold SET
3. press SELECT
4. using the down cursor key, scroll down to TV
5. press SELECT
6. press EXIT

for the cd player:

1. press CD device key
2. press and hold SET
3. press SELECT
4. scroll down to CD
5. press SELECT
6. press EXIT

As for the codes, the only Classic TV I've seen in a store, AMES. Used the same codeset as my Changhong SET, the toshiba TV code 0156.

I have a Classic dvd player, there isn't code for that, but the 8910 can be upgraded over the phone, ask for code 1917.

Fisher cd player codes are 0179, 0174.

My cd player isnt responding to those codes.
when i try to call their number, it says welcome to verizon... the number you have dialed is not in service. when i say "classic" i mean the actual brand you know that right? thanks for the help my tv works now and the buttons are back to normal. when i press prev, instead of going to the previous channel it asks caption 1, text, spanish... u kno like the caption stuff, well yeah thats what it does instead of doing previous channel.

Are you putting 1 before the area code? You can't use a cell phone, or a cordless, it needs to be corded.

Newer remotes like the 8820/10820 list additional fisher cd codes: 0088, 0342, 1325?

Hi,
I have a URC 8910 which I have one problem with. I have a TV, RECV and DVD all working the way I want. I have activated the Theatre option that is cool. The one thing is I can not turn on or off my equipement unless I select each component type and press power. Is there a way to tell power button to do all compnents? Thanks in advance.
