My 15-2116 was looking a little dirty so decided to wipe it down with a damp cloth. Now everytime I hit the info button in cable function it freezes up. Should I try to disassemble it to see whats going on inside there and if so how do I get the thing apart. Or is there something else I can do. I thought it would dry out inside over night if it indeed got wet. But it is still doing it today. The only way to unfreeze it is to take the batteries out. Any other sugesstions would be very much appreciated. I don't know what I would do without my remote.

There is a good chance that it got wet under the rubber membrane that is the keypad. If you think you can get it apart without too much trouble I would certainly suggest doing so. If you go here [Link: groups.yahoo.com] and scroll down to RemoteTakeApart it will give you detailed instructions on how to disassemble with no damage.
