I know I posted this on another thread, but since that one seems to have died off I'll try again. I've got the new RS 15-2146 & I've managed to get it to control ALMOST everything I need, but I still can't get it to power on/off my Yamaha CD 835 changer or activate the playXchange feature. It'll do all the other controls I need on the Yamaha, but not being able to power on/off is a drag. Any more suggestions would be great. Thanks,

Since this isn't UEI remote, it won't take advanced codes. And if this isn't a learning remote, then you're out of luck.

It actually is a learning remote - I just don't have the original remote, but maybe one of these days I'll run into someone with a similiar Yamaha changer. Heck I saw the same model w/original remote on e-bay going for 30-40 bucks. I suppose I could buy it just for the remote!

Sometimes there is a trick with DVD players that they turn on by pressing Play. I don't suppose your CD changer does?
