URC-9910. I download the necessary zip files. I unzip them into the same directory and it's in the same directory as my Operating System (Win. 98+)as instructed.

The first time I open the RI.exe v 6.0 it shows all the necessary tabs as you would expect. However It does not recognize any of my Interfaces on my PC. Can not get it to do this no matter what I try. So I exit the program. Now I reopen the IR.exe 6.0 and the tabs are all gone except for General and Raw Data tabs. Now though, I can get it to read my remote, I think, the little red light flashes, and the information in the Raw Data tab has changed. However there is no information under the Device Buttons. Prior to this all I had utilized this remote to operate several of my components via the user manual codes so it did have some data within. It appears that the closing some how effects the necessary drivers and I then don’t get the tabs necessary to show.

I of course need all the tabs to install codes from Keymap-Master.xls.

If and when I get this fixed I intend to offer this or similar remotes to my calibration customers. I'm sure the advise I get from this forum will help in my choice of remotes.

JP1 questions should be asked in the JP1 forum.

I know this isn't the place for JP1 issues, but the current JP1 tools DO work on Windows 98; no newer version is required.
