I cant control the volume on my zenith tv/vcr combo with my URC-4060B03. I have tried the 479 463 combination, the vcr functions work but the volume dosent.

Phil,

Did you program a code on the VCR key and a code on the TV Key? If this is an old model, you will need to program a code for the VCR to work VCR functions, and a TV code to work TV functions (Like Volume).

Also, the manual should tell you about volume lock. That is where you lock the volume keys to say the TV device. That way, you volume will always work the TV no matter whick device key you press (TV, VCR, CBL etc...).

To Lock volume follow below instructions:
1) Press and Hold SET Key until light blinks twice
2) Enter code 993
3) Press TV Key

To Unlock volume follow below instructions:
1) Press and Hold SET Key until light blinks twice
2) Enter code 993
3) Press Vol- Key

Thanks for your reply. Yes i did program the tv function key but the volume control still have not effect. The one for all site says you need advanced functions but they havent replied to emails.
