I made the mistake of trying to remap the enter key to the SCAN key on my old 2005 (while in the TV mode). The thing is all screwed up now.
When I remove and replace the batteries it blinks a few times and then the red light stays on constantly as the remote sends scan commands to the TV.
After a while the red light goes off and the remote is dead.
I now (too late) remember warnings against mapping to the SCAN key.
Is the remote cooked?
