Im trying to programme my panasonic TV. The remote manual says to hold the p button until it double blinks and enter the code, but the problem is it does not double blink. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks

Make sure no keys are stuck down.

I have made sure that the keys are not stuck. If they were then the red light would not turn off. When i press a key the red light turns on. But holding the p button does not double blink.

Then you have broken remote, I would return it to RS.

Do you understand "double blink" is actually? It blinks once when you start to hold it. Then is off for a while as you continue to hold it. Then you get 2 more blinks. I'm asking in case the first quick blink made you expect the 2'nd blink sooner.

If the remote is sick, before deciding it is dead: remove a battery; press a key while the battery is out; replace the battery and see what blink pattern you get on battery replace; then see what the P key does.

I'm not sure... I don't have a 2115 here to test it with but with some (or most) of these remotes I don't think that changing device mode flashes the red LED.
