9960 How to save a discrete code to the unit?

I found my on/off discrete codes but cant seem to figure out how to program them into the unit. Iwould actually like to program the on and ogg to the same button as a toggle or if someone has a better idea for an amp that doesn't support a toggle on/off.

Please help, my wife is getting angry....

If it was any other UEI remote you could use shifted key, but 9960 doesn't accept shifted commands. so you're stuck using separate keys for on & off.

Depending on what version of the 9960 you have, newer one only accept 5 digit advanced codes. To map advanced code:

1. press and hold SETUP for two blinks
2. press OTHER
3. enter 9-9-4
4. press the DEVICE key
5. press SETUP for one blink
6. enter advanced code
7. pick a key
