Now that I got my new dvd remote set up and programmed to my dvd player I now have to figure out how to open and close my dvd tray with the dvd remote. I looked in the book of the new dvd remote and it doesn't say anythin' and the dvd remote that I had with my dvd player is different and the new dvd player I don't know how to set up or program the dvd player to find out how to open and close the dvd tray usin' the dvd remote. I know that there has to be a way.

First, I'm guessing your standard remote for the DVD player has an "eject" button.

Second, search for the "advanced code" for "eject" for your DVD player model. Report what current device code you're using, what remote control you've got, and then come back....

Glad you were able to find a set up code that worked.

"Advanced codes" is a way to program additonal functions onto keys on the remote. Odds are that your unit supports this feature since it is a One-for-All branded product -- even if it is not described in the manual. But you first need a listing of the advanced codes for DVD 651, since they are unique to each device code.

To learn more, you can go to Rob's site www.hifi-remote.com and check out the "advanced codes" section which has a more complete description and instructions on how to use them. If Rob doesn't have the codes for DVD 651 posted, then you will have to call or email One-for-All customer service with your remote model number and request a listing of the DVD 651 advanced codes.
