I need a code for a govideo dvd/vcr player. The model number for the dvd/vcr player is dv2150. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Try 0432. Don't forget to try commands other than just power. If it works even partially, there is a chance of getting it to work more with advanced codes.

VCR/0432 fits every govideo VCR I can find data on. It is also very closely related to DVD/0715, which probably fits some govideo dvd (but I don't have data for that).

The power signal is the same in VCR/0432 and DVD/0715 and all the govideo VCRs I can find data on. I wouldn't actually argue against trying other keys. But if power doesn't work in VCR/0432, I'd bet nothing will work.

If power works and some other keys don't, that can be fixed with advanced codes, but try DVD/0715 first, since that may cover keys VCR/0432 lacks and is easier than advanced codes.

VCR 1137 is also a possibility. While many GoVideo units use a Samsung platform which responds to the 432 code, a few are based on what I suspect is a Daewoo/LG platform and use 1137. And I know the DV2140 is one of those, so chances are your DV2150 is too.

The bad news is that I don't believe VCR 1137 is in the Radio Shack 15-2116. So you may have to fall back on the learning capability, or go check the JP1 forum to see if they have VCR 1137 or an equivalent.

Have you got any data on VCR 1137?
I can't find it at all in my large collection of IR data.
Do you have a .wav file for it? Or know which model has it built-in? Or have a CCF file for any VCR that uses it?

I believe VCR/1037 is just a minor tweak of VCR/0037. Usually when OFA has a sequence like that, they would reserve the number 1137 as the next minor tweak of the same thing.

VCR/0037 and minor tweaks of it are sold under many brand names.

UEI puts DVD/VCR combos under DVD, just like TV/DVD/VCR combos are also under DVD. One of the newest UEI remotes, the white Directv remote, which only takes 5 digit SETUP codes lists these codes for Go-Video DVD 20744, 20783, 21075, 20869, 20715, 20833. On this remote VCR code 0432 is 20432.

sorry..I was just testing. I have read all the posting above and entered the codes on my A/R remote controller, but none of them work. I'm not sure what those codes for? I thought it were use for either universal remote or A/R remote. I too recently purchased GoVideo model DV2150. I can't seem to find the code for my Onkyo remote to control the GoVideo.
BTW, does anyone have comment on DV2150? And anyone know if it has any hack codes for either firmware, region free?
Much appreciate.

This forum is strictly for UEI remotes sold under the brands One-for-all and radio shack. Code lists are not universal, each universal remote uses its own code list. After stating that, whats an A/R remote?

There may not be a code, but try 105, 106, 106 the codes for govideo vcrs. (Not sure if it will work with your combo unit). If not you can
