The brand name is "Classic"? If then thee are no codes in the cinema 7. Only recent UEI remotes have a code for it, like the RS 15-2142, the code is DVD 1917.

The Cinema 7 remote can be programmed from your PC using a concept called JP1.

In the short term, if you still have the Classic remote, you could use learning.

Yes, it is a Classic! got it second hand, the owner said IF they find the remote they will give it to us but I ain't holding much hope at least for the near future... I can't even locate it on the net. (The brand).
The remote is a few years old and I didn't try search I was looking on the list of workable models and didn't notice it any where.

Is there a model number visable anywhere on the receiver? As you might imagine, it's pretty hard to search using the word "Classic" but it might be easier to search for a "Classic ABC-123".

Do you have a guess as to the model year? If you were able to take a picture of it and post it, that might help too (just in case it's a re-brand, or maybe someone else has a model that's re-branded from the Classic).
