DJ-Anakin,

Yes, you can use your 9960 to control the Xbox.

The code you need is 0522 and you need to program it under the DVD device.

Hope this works for you.

There are a few versions of IR sensor for the xbox. The Microsoft version and some third party ones use the signals of an RCA DVD player (which is DVD/0522 in a OneForAll remote). Some less common third party IR sensors for xbox use stranger protocols that would need an upgrade for use in the 9960.

The 9960 allows you to change the device type associated with a given device button so you can assign a DVD type setup code to a device key other than DVD for your Xbox and keep the DVD key for your DVD.

Other models use the 992 command to change device type. I think the 9960 also uses 992 for that, but I'm not sure. Consult your documentation.
