For $12, this is a great remote. But in the last few days, something went wrong. When I push the *guide* button, I get channel info (the banner at the top of the screen).
Help! I can't get the guide with this remote now. The *info* button does nothing now...

Are you controlling a tivo? If not then what's the device and what setup code are you using? To get back the GUIDE command:

1. press and hold SET for two blinks
2. enter 9-9-4
3. press the device key
4. press GUIDE
5. press GUIDE again

Its a Hughes DirecTivo unit. The remote worked it out of the box without any setup or codes. All the other buttons work, just not the guide. I'll try your instructions and let you know.

nope, doesn't work... arrghhh!!!
