Have been trying to set my OFA 8810 to control the power switch on my Sony 60XS955 TV using the standard Sony codes 0000 and 0080
and the remote will not shut off the TV but instead it shuts off my SA 3250 cable box!
What am I doing wrong?

Try this:
1. press TV
2. press and hold SET for two blinks
3. enter 9-9-4
4. press TV
5. press POWER
6. press POWER again

When you press the TV device, do any of the keys then work your Tv?
