I am considering the purchase of a One-For-All Kameleon 8. If a device is supported by the Kameleon's code database does that mean that the Kameleon will actually display all of the buttons for that device? I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD cable box/DVR (provided by Cox Communications). Will the Kameleon show all of the buttons for the 8300HD's remote (e.g. LIST button)?

If you go to the OFA website you can download the manual there. It shows what keys are available in each device mode (pages 32-40). For the cable mode, I didn't see a list button, but maybe it goes by another name. There is Guide, Info, Page +/-, Menu, Exit, Scroll, etc. Check it out. Jim

The display of buttons in the Kameleon is not affected by the setup code number, only by the setup code type (TV vs. VCR vs. CBL, etc.).
So there is one set of buttons available for all CBL setup codes. The setup code number only determines what those buttons send, not how they are displayed. Obviously that set of displayed buttons is unlikely to match the physical buttons on any give cable remote.

On the 9960, the CAB device shares a key with SAT.
