I programmed my remote for the tv (0060 code), it cannot work properly. The commands most of the time are not registering. It needs 2-3 tries to get it done. Any suggestion would be appreciated! Thanks!

Yes,its a known problem with samsung tv's and universal remotes. UEI the makers of these remotes recent came up corrected setup code, TV 0702. Which doesn't help you since it isn't in the 2116. You have to learn the commands from the original remote, sorry.:(

Aww =( I guess I really have to return it then... What is the remote control you talked about that carries code TV0702? Will using MX-500 or URC-200 fix this problem?

I'm sure the preset code in the mx-500 & urc-200 also has this problem of non-repeating vol and such. The remotes that have setup code 0702 are urc-6131 & 9960. But remotes like the 8910 or 9910 can have the code loaded over the phone.

The RF basestation enables you to control your equipment from another room or behind cabnet doors. Is the UEI RF important? not AT all, it stinks.:)
