I remember a while ago the "donut" thing used to be there, but now it seems to be gone. I can't tell from the pictures whether or not the new arrows are backlit. Can anyone let me know? I'm thinking of getting this remote, but will get another 8811 if I can't see some buttons in the dark. Thanks.

The directional keys do not light up like the other keys on the remote, but the light does escape around them though.
