...and now my urc9960 stays always on!!!I've to put away the batteries to shut it down.
How can it be possible. As I desolded the resistance (0 ohm)it was working great...after a couple of days this new problem.
I use rechargeable Nimh batteries...could this one be the problem?
Thanks
Max

Did you completely remove the resistor? Did you double check to make sure you didn't leave any solder bridges? Before you posted, did you look inside the remote to see that there was nothing obvious?

I am sure it has been completely cleaned. Otherwise there would not be such a problem! Simply the motion would sensor continue to work...I don't think this is the trouble.
thanks, however

OK, so the pads may be clean, but did you look inside the remote to make sure there was nothing obvious that you may have bumped, touched, re-assembled incorrectly, etc?
I know that it seems obvious, but sometimes the most confusing things to diagnose are the most obvious and (sometimes) silly things that we are SURE we couldn't have done.
Sometimes when electronics aren't working correctly, taking the cover off/taking them apart and LOOKING at them REAL HARD then putting them back together seems to fix the problem. :-) Any electronic tech knows what I mean by that.

I've just done as you suggest..but everything seems ok.
simply it doesn't turn off anymore!!!!
I have to put away a battery to shut it off...what can it be?
When I desolded the resistance, for a couple of days the kameleon worked fine..now..
I cannot find a solution. Can anybody help me?

The only thing that comes to mind that could cause this problem is if a key were "stuck down". I put that in quotes because with the Kameleon I know there are no keys, the edge of which to stick under a hood. For that to be the case, though, it would seem as though the red LED that indicates a transmit would be stuck on, as well.
Hmmm, sorry, I have no further advice.

Max,
According to the manual on page 3, "NOTE: The batteries will need replacement if one of
the following conditions occurs:
1. Pressing any key turns on all keys and icons.
2. The remote control no longer operates and the
display flashes on and off continously."

Have you tried a brand new set of alkaline batteries?
