Here is my dumb question.

I have the One For All URC-9911 remote and a Pansat 2500a receiver. Since none of the preset codes worked I programmed the key buttons from the original remote using IR Learn. It just never seems to work all that well....it only works about 25% of the time..then seems to get worse and worse until I have to reprogram it again. It works just as bad if I am in the same room holding next to the remote's receiver...or if I aim it directly at the Pansat receiver. The original remote is infra red only..works fine, but I want to use my One For All in other rooms.

My question is if I get the JP1 cable and set it up for the Pansat that way...will this solve my problem? Are there working codes for the pansat??

My only other idea is to get a remote extender and use the Pansat Remote...but I have the 9911 so I would like to make it work.
