Hello all,
My dad was recently given a Sony DVD/VCR combo player, model SLV-D100. None of the Sony setup codes for DVD players or VCRs will enable his One For All URC8810 remote to control this player. There are too many needed buttons to just learn them all--I tried. Is there any quick way around this? I'm going home in two days, and I'd like to be able to set this up before I go, if it's possible. If there's a way to program his remote without a factory upgrade or buying/learning/using the JP1 process (I won't have time for either), I'd really appreciate your sharing it! Thanks in advance.

Nope, the only ways are by factory upgrade with code Dvd0864, or by JP1.
