Hello,
I have a OFA 6011. I have found the advanced codes page and learned how to program them into my remote. However I'm having a problem that I can't figure out.
I have two different TiVos. A Philips series 1 and a Sony series 1.
If I set the 6011 for the Sony code 0636 - and add the advanced codes for [advance ... 237] and [replay ... 220] to unused buttons it works great!
However, if i set the 6011 to TiVo code 0618 - and then try to use the advanced codes [218 Advance] and [726 Instant Replay] assigned to unused buttons they will NOT work at all. These codes will work using the "test a code" approach.
Is there something wrong with my remote? Does the 618 code not accept advanced codes while the 636 code will?
Any help is appreciated.

No, the version of code 0618 found in the 6011 doesn't accept advanced code like later UEI remotes.
