I just purchased a Sony KDF-55WF655 and I'm trying to configure a One For All Cimema 7 remote to use the TV with my existing audio receiver. I have it all working except that inorder to enable the audio outputs on the TV, the TV speaker must be turned off. I have found that the discrete code of 098 toggles the speaker on and off but is there a code to simply turn the speaker off?

My code list for Sony TVs doesn't show a discrete speaker-off code. That doesn't mean there isn't one for your particular TV, but you're going to need to find it yourself if it exists.

You've probably already thought of it, but if you can find a function that always turns the speaker ON, then you can use that in conjunction with the toggle to turn it OFF.

Assuming you're using the 0000 device code, the speaker on/off is a toggle -- 098

Enjoy!
