Hi all,
I just got the 8 in 1 and wanted to do a fix to extend the battery life in it. I saw one method here where I am supposed to take out solder from a resistor that would separate it from the rectangular motion sensor. However when I opened up my 8 in 1 I see a big circular coil up at the top of the remote near the infrared. He also said the resistor had a number 34 on it....my says 331. Any other ideas to help me out???

The circular coil is the remote's modem, that has nothing to do with the motion detector. Which directions are you using, are you talking about this:

Yes I am talking about disabling the motion sensor....I heard that this thing is very sensitive and it kills the remote.

It kills the batteries, not the remote! :)
