I have tried using software for my pda's and a radio shack 8 in 1 kameleon and neither can do most of the features for this reciever. Namely I can't switch to many of the inputs, can't change analog/digital input, and most important of all I can't change surround modes. I lost the remote to this so I can't learn the commands. Anybody here know what to do? (would calling to have the remote updated help?)

You could use JP1 to program the Kameleon, then you could make it perform all of the functions for the Panasonic. Ideally, you should get a JP1 cable and pogo-pin adapter, but you could also use JP1 to create WAV files which you can use to program it. (As I believe the 15-2138 has a modem on board, but I don't know that for certain).

If you don't get any joy from callin their hotline, just remember that you can program it yourself using JP1. Even though it would be better to use a JP1 cable, you can use the JP1 tools to create WAV files and then load the upgrades via the remote's modem.

In the JP1 file section. I don't recall if we have a file for this exact model, but I expect that a file for a similar model will work.

If and when you become a JP1 user, post a question about it in the JP1 forums and we'll help you out.
