Just got a 6131, great remote for the price. Only problem is it won't do anything with my Sony RDR-GX7 DVD recorder (won't even turn it on). Anyone know a device code that will work, or do I need to send it to OFA to get it upgraded?

Since the 6131 manual only lists one code, I'm sure you tried it. It looks like you'll need to have it upgraded. Sony doesn't use anybody elses codes. The newest UEI remote has 7 Sony dvd codes listed, the remote is radio shack 15-2142,$13, codes are 0533, 0864, 1903, 1981, 1033, 1934, and 1094. I have no idea which to ask for when upgrading.
