I just baought a new remote in order to be able to use it on a new Emerson TV/DVD combo that I bought. I called OFA Customer Support about upgrading my URC-6012 and was told I would have to send it in for an upgrade, and I was told what code would need to be upgraded. Now, being the impatient person that I am I went out and bought the 8910 and was hoping to upgrade iot with the proper code over the phone. Unfortunately Customer Support was closed by the time I called again.

Does anyone know if there is an automated menu-driven phone number that I can use to download the upgrade I need or do I have to call during Customer Support hours and ask them to send the upgrade data over the phone line?

Thank you.

So, because of the time delay between when you asked your question and now, when I answer it, I have solved your problem. Customer service is open!
But in the future, I don't believe there is an automated line such as that of which you speak, as most people don't know the necessary code. If you had the jp1 software you could create your own .wav file and do it any time of day you wished through your pc speakers.
