First of all, I tried searching for this, but couldn't find it.
I picked up a Kameleon 4-in-1 from Radio Shack today, popped in the batteries, programmed it and FINALLY had a working remote for my DVD player again...for about 20 minutes. Then the blasted thing just stopped working. I put brand new batteries in the first time, then went out and got more brand new batteries...nothing. I didn't do anything with the remote aside from program it, and rewind a few times, then it just sat on a table for 20 minutes and *poof* "no workie."

Any advice before I return this?

EDIT: By "no workie" I mean the light doesn't go on, the buttons don't do anything, nothing.

Return it, it's a crappy remote anyway. It's absolutely the worst Kameleon that has been made. If you really like the Kameleon format, try the 15-2133 or URC-9960 instead. If you just want a remote that works, try the 15-2116 or URC-6131 instead.

Btw, which setup code were you using for your DVD player? If we know the code we can confirm which remotes have it built in.
Rob.
