I have the OFA Kameleon. Has anyone been able to get a code for the Motorola Moxi box with DVR from Adelphia? UEI wants me to send in the remote so they can code it, but 7-10 days without controls for my DVR would be unthinkable! They have to already have a code for this, so many people have the BMC9012 (+100,000 shipped by now)

If UEI is asking you to send them your original remote, it means they don't have a code for it. That's why they want the chance to learn from your remote.

If you want an upgrade code but don't want to give up your DVR remote, get yourself a JP1 cable and make the upgrade yourself.

Any luck with ofa remote and the comcast dvr box?

Has anyone got the Kameleon to work with the Moxi yet? I was thinking of buying a Kameleon today but wanted to make sure that it could handle my Moxi DVR.

My 15-2133 works fine. I got the codes from Radio Shack phone line. A couple things to note though. You wont have the feel of buttons to guide you in the dark so you end up looking at the remote more and not all commands are on one screen.

The Motorola Moxi boxes usually respond to One-for-All cable box code 1187. However, I don't believe that is preloaded in any of the Kameleon products, you will need to get it downloaded from customer service like Ed1958 says.
