The manual for the Radio Shack remote 15-2102 (4 in one) gives a code for my GE DVD player that doesn't work. I've lost the remote for the player so I can't do anything with it at all. It's a region 1 GE1101PA DVD player and no matter what I try I can't get it to work. Anyone got any suggestions?

The correct setup code for the GE 1101P player is DVD/0717, but this code isn't present in the 15-2102 remote. Your best bet is to pick up a One For All URC-6131 remote as this has the code. Also, any upgradeable remote can have the code added.
