Hi,

I do not know if this is the right place to ask this, please let me know, if I should go somewhere else.

When working in IR 5.15, I have noticed that I sometimes are able to convert file to wav, but sometimes I am not.

When can I do this, and when can I not?

I thought that I could use this function with my kameleon, not having to buy a cable, but with several of the upgrades I have found, edited or created, the function is just greyed out.......

Thanks in advance,

Peter

If you found/edited an upgrade, did you remember to change the remote type to your model of Kameleon?

And before transfering the upgrade from KM or RM to IR, did you create or open an eeprom image for the correct remote type?

I remember discussion that the .wav feature was intentionally disabled when the rdf file indicates that the remote has no .wav support. I've never tested any of that to verify that what I saw discussed is actually in the program.

When working in IR 5.15...

Most people here aren't going to even know what IR 5.15 is because this is a general forum for OFA remotes. The IR program is only of use to JP1 users, which I assume you are if you're using it. If you are a JP1 user, I also assume you know about the JP1 web site and forum, after all, if you don't know about them, how did you find out about JP1 and where did you get the software?

Bottom line, the correct place to ask JP1 questions is the JP1 forum.
Rob.
