Hi

I just got a 9960 remote from the USA (I live in the UK) and I have everything setup apart from my Sanyo TV. I've tried both codes in the manual (0154, 0799) plus another one I found somewhere on the net (0159). I've also tried the search function on the remote but the best I can get is to get the channel numbers working (no volume or power).

I have the instructions for a UK lower model OFA remote (URC-7544) and this has a long list of Sanyo TV numbers, I put them in my 9960 but the infrared transmit signal flashes once, instead of the normal twice. I'm guessing that means the code isn't in the remote. Is there a way to add the UK numbers into the 9960, or another way to get it to work?

Thanks

You're right, if a code is not in the memory, the remote will give a single blink. If you know the which setupcode from the URC-7544 does work, just give customer support a ring in order to get this setupcode downloaded.

The Phonenumber for the URC-9960 support is: 001-330-405-8620

It is a normal phonenumber so you can dial it form the UK. However, please use a landline phone in order to receive a proper download. It won't work with a mobile or most cordless phones.
