A while ago I bought an All For One remote (not sure the model number, it's their PVR one with the little red and green thumb buttons) to use to replace one of my ReplayTV remotes.

It works fine except for there are 2 buttons on my Replay remote that have no cooresponding button on the One For All. ReplayZones and Input. I have to get out my Replay remote whenever I want to use those functions.

I just got a new cable box a few weeks ago and I never needed the remote until now - because now I'm using OnDemand and need to select shows to play.

I was able to get the code to control the cable box just fine. But again there are a few needed buttons that aren't on the All For One. Specifically the A, B and C buttons which I need to PLAY content. It's a Scientific Atlanta 3100 box, FYI.

Is there a way to map individual button functions to certain buttons using the IR?

I know the One For All has some crazy connector port thing that I can hook up to my computer but I don't want to do that. (I have a Mac anyway and not sure if it's Mac compatible)

Easy problem to solve, first off make sure that you're using the PVR/0616 setup code rather than the PVR/0614 setup code. Then you can program any spare buttons using advanced codes. You can find the advanced codes for PVR/0616 on my web site. You program them like this...

Let's say that you want to program the PIP button to work Zones...

1) Tap the PVR device button.
2) Hold SET, 2 flashes
3) Type 994, 2 flashes
4) Tap SET (don't hold it)
5) Type 088 (the advanced code for Zones)
6) Tap PIP, 2 flashes

Oh and by the way, the model number is URC-6131 and the "crazy connector" process is called "JP1" and it's an absolute "god send" for One For All remotes.
