The code isn't in the 8910, but can be added over the phone, the code you need to ask for is DVD 0864.

I just bought the SLVD300P Sony DVD/VCR combo without remtoe, and I want to program it with URC 8910. I got the telephone upgrade to the code 0864, but the remote still doesn't all its functions operational. For example, I can't switch between DVD and VCR, I can't get into setup, and may be others which I dont know. Any source of information which can help me get these functions into the remote?

You can help yourself out by searching through advanced codes(EFC), start at 000 go through 255. Jotting down whatever commands you find. To test an EFC, tap SET once, enter the efc, the command won't fire until the third digit.
