I couldn't find any information if this remote has JP1 capabilities or not, so I went ahead and bought one anyway. I can say for sure that it does not and probably can not be made to use it. I disassembled it and this remote uses a one chip solution which is inaccesable underneath a bubble of black plastic. I suspect that it's little brother, the 3330, which looks identical has the nearly the exact same internals and will never have JP1 either.
