Rob,
I have the jvc rx 888 receiver. I have it assigned to Aux1. The code I am using is 0074. I would like to be able to access the on screen menu by using the menue key and from there use the arrow keys to move around in the on screen programming. Then exit out. Oh by the way I have the rs1994 remote.

Mike, Can you do this with the original remote? If not, then it might not be possible. I don't have advanced codes listed for the UP, DOWN or MENU buttons, but if you have these buttons on your original remote, you can learn the functions from that remote into the 15-1994. Here's the advanced codes that I have [Link: hifi-remote.com]Rob. http://www.hifi-remote.com

Rob, Yes the original remote has a menue button and then you use the arrow keys and select key, to control the receiver through the on screen programming. I have used some of the advanced codes and they work, but I can't get it to learn the menue, arrow, select or exit keys. What do you think?
Mike
