If you redefine a device key using the MAGIC-9-9-2 method, volume punch-through will no longer work on that device key. Therefore, use the key mover feature to copy the volume up/down and mute functions to the redefined device. Anyone disagree? [Link: ampersand.hypermart.net]

Never tried it, but it sounds logical. Should be easy to test. Go ahead.

Yeah, I use the key-mover to to remap the volume controls on redefined devices.
