Does anyone know if Discrete On and/or Off codes exhist for:
Denon AVR-2800
General Instruments Cable Box
Sony DVP-S330 DVD Player
JVC VCRs
ProScan VCRs
Sony TV (I found off but not on)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can help you on the Sony DVD player, but that's about it. To turn it off, you can use the 621 code. Most Sony's use this code as a discrete off. To turn it on, you just have to press the "play" button and it will turn itself on automatically. There isn't a separate discrete on command, as far as I can tell.

in response to evan"s request for discrete for jvc vcrs try 248=on 247=off. for sony tv try 625=0n he is correct for off,which is 621. i hope this data helps
