How do you program another macro? I am using the Macro 1 and Macro 2, I want to know if I can program another macro onto a different button. I have the Cinema 7. If someone can either e-mail me or post here, that would be awesome.

Using the same sequence that you used to program on the macro buttons, simply substitute any other key for the macro key. The only keys that can NOT learn a macro sequence are the device keys, SLEEP, and possibly the REC key. I'm not totally sure about the last one.

Just remember... once a key is programmed as a macro, it will be the macro activator in ALL DEVICES. For this reason I personally just use the L keys for macros.

Have Fun!

thanks a million. That works great. I have Macro 1 turns on TV/VCR/SAT/AMP sets remote to Sat after, L4 turns on DVD/switches TV to Video 2/switches AMP to LD/DVD/then sets remote to DVD, Then Macro 2 turns off DVD/switches TV to Video 1/switches AMP to VCR. Works great. I love this remote. Now, If I can get X-10 to control lighting. Any ideas people? I have a ceiling fan light I would like to dim all the way down then dim up after dvd movie is over.

You'll probably be able to get the remote to dim an X-10 light down when you initiate a macro with one button push. The Cinemas don't have a timer feature, so it is going to take another push of a button to activate another macro when the movie is over. Since movies vary in how long they run, I doubt a timer feature would be very reliable for this use.

There are some programmable X10 controllers that might be able to do what you want with one X10 command, but they are going to cost you more money and programming time. It's possible, but it won't necessarily be easy.
