Ron,

You might want to take a look at the following URL:

I've looked for advanced codes for StarChoice 0869 and so far no luck. The email request to OFA replied that no advanced code functions exist.

In using the search method mentioned above I was sometimes able to get a channel up or previous channel command, but it wasn't reliable. I have no idea what caused it sometimes to work, and other times to do nothing. In the end I used the key move functions, and learned the necessary buttons from the original remote.

What are you attempting to do with the remote? What functions do you need? I've pushed my Cinema6 to its limit after reading the FAQ.

I actually just wanted to move the enter key from the number pad to the select key where the arrows are without using the learning memory. I did not know about the key mover function.

Ok, good. Did you successfully copy the key?

The response that "no advanced codes exist" is bull. Advanced codes will always exist. They may not provide and additional functionality than what is already available by default, but they certainly do exist. Testing for advanced codes is mentioned in my FAQ: [Link: ampersand.hypermart.net]
