I have already transfered a puck from a 9800 to 2116, but no, I went three rounds with that donut last night, I am not opening my 9910 again. I don't even know if there's still a pad for the puck on the new 8910, it's obscured by glue.

I can 99% guarantee you that the new URC-8910 and URC-9910 remotes use the same PCB, so even if there's glue in the way, there's pads underneath.
