Well, I finally upgraded my reciver, but with one small problem, no remote. Right now I have the RS 15-1994, but it dosn't work with my reciver :( So, my question is this, what remote do I upgrade to? I've been looking at the Producer8 Pro, MKII, and the Sony RV-2000. What one do y'all think would work best? Thanks for any input.

Which receiver so you own? Your best answer would come from someone with the same one using a universal remote that works with it.

What is the Producer 8 Pro? Is that the same thing as the URC-9800? I believe the 9800 (IR/RF) is now the top-of-the-line One For All, and it has several setup codes for Kenwood receivers.
I've been looking for a learning RF remote, and this like IT. I just unpacked it, and am about to try it out.

I've never heard of the "Producer 8 Pro". There's the "A/V Producer 8", (URC-8800 IR only), and the "Home Producer 8" (URC-9800 with RF basestation). He probably means the Home Producer 8.
