Do you have codes for the red, green, yellow and blue buttons for the Grundig 1500 Digital TV box, the menu controls for the Matsui 14V1R tv and the Sanyo VHR-M292 VCR? my remote is One-In-All URC-7562 and the setup codes for each are:
Grundig 1500 Digital TV receiver (SAT): 0140
Matsui 14V1R (TV): 0195
Sanyo VHR-M292 (VCR):0104

I havent found CCF files for the TV or VCR, but i have found the CCF file for the Digital TV receiver here:
[Link: remotecentral.com]
but when I make the output file, because it is a part of a complete system CCf file, i get a LOT of stuff outputted into the file and i dont know where the commands for the Digital receiver are. Also i have found missing codes for the VCR on Robs site. I will be checking them soon. thanks for the tips so far.

1) Bad choice of title for the thread. You just scared away half the people who might know something about Grundig TV, Matsui TV, or Sanyo VCR, because they know nothing about URC-7562. The EFC codes, once you find them, are very likely the same for any remote discussed in this forum. The fact that you have a 7562 is worth mentioning in the message, not in the title. Grundig, Matsui and Sanyo are key details which should be in the title of the thread(s).

2) When asking for EFC codes (functions missing from a basically correct setup code) always tell which setup code it is.

3) Have you looked up your setup codes on Rob's site to see if he lists the missing functions?
[Link: hifi-remote.com]

4) Have you looked for a CCF file for each of your devices in the large Pronto library here at RC? The ccf2efc program can decode those and give the EFC codes you need for UEI remotes.

5) Have you looked for them in the library of codes at

The IRTool program (the improved one in the Yahoo JP1 group) can translate those.

First, that needs the version of ccf2efc.exe and associated DecodeIR.dll from the Yahoo JP1 group. The older version of ccf2efc here in RC won't do Grundig.

Next, it helps to know that the Grundig protocol decodes as "Blaupunkt{body}" so all and only decodes that say that go with this device. Without that fact, you need to look at the "DEVICE" lines and guess. That CCF has:
DEVICE(0003424C) "DVB"
I'm not sure I would have guessed that meant the Grundig digital tv receiver.

Next, you need to guess what the function names mean. If I'm guessing correctly, here are your answers from that file:
"R" (Blaupunkt{body}):0:122 EFC=055
"G" (Blaupunkt{body}):0:126 EFC=183
"Y" (Blaupunkt{body}):0:123 EFC=053
"B" (Blaupunkt{body}):0:110 EFC=215

Finally, SAT/0140 isn't one this (primarily USA) group looks at much, so I'm not certain it uses the same EFC rules as my decoder. Try those EFCs and if they fail, I double check that detail and get better ones.

Personally I use 0173 for the Grundig 1500T rather than 0140.

For 0173, the colours are as follows:
Red - 055
Yellow - 053
Green - 183
Blue - 215

thanks for the codes they work great. now i only need the "ok" button for the digital tv box and then i will have all the buttons configured. i have tried to look through the output file to see how you got these codes but only a few of the functions in the whole file have "EFC =" lines in them. I looked for the R, G, Y, and B buttons just to see how you found the EFC codes for them and it gives me this (this is an example of the G button. The rest of the buttons (R, Y, B) are similar:

Button(0002AD0D)=74,175"G"freq=36.0KHz
Some kind of phase encoding, 9 bits, LSB value = 0x001 {offset 11 in single part using 10 of 42 pairs}
Some kind of phase encoding, 9 bits, LSB value = 0x001 {offset 21 in single part using 10 of 42 pairs}
Some kind of phase encoding, 9 bits, LSB value = 0x001 {offset 31 in single part using 10 of 42 pairs}

Yes, I looked at these 59 pages of text, and found that there were no EFC codes mentioned in the "DVB" section. Where did Larry get his codes from?

I have no idea where Larry got the same four EFC codes that I got from the CCF file. But I'm sure there are many other sources.

The reason you didn't find them in the output of ccf2efc is either that you didn't get the new copy of ccf2efc from the Yahoo JP1 group, or you didn't get (and put in the same directory as ccf2efc) the DecodeIR.dll that it needs to decode these signals.

The "ok" signal from that CCF is EFC 006.

Sorry you needed to look at 59 pages. I assume people use a "search" command when viewing large text and I mentioned that any useful information in the output would have the text Blaupunkt{body}. So after a quick search for Blaupunkt, you either have the result or know it's not in there.

Thanks for your help - I read teh file into Word and used a search for DVB. There is no Blaupunkt entry in my version. I got ccf2efc from the Yahoo JP1 group (and have had 50 junk emails from other users since then!). I shall take a look for the dll file.

When you join a Yahoo group and any time later by clicking on the "Edit My Membership" link, you can select whether to get email from the group. You should check the box that says:
"No email. Don't send me email, I'll read the messages at the Web site."

Even those who want to read the messages usually do that. The group has too much traffic to want to get it as individual emails.

For those people that do want to read the messages, there is a way to receive them as emails without having them swamp your inbox.

You should set up a filter that puts any emails addressed to [email protected] into a seperate folder.

Viewing the messages this way means you don't have to deal with all the advertisement interuptions on the Yahoo site and you don't have to deal with the sometimes slow response time on that site either.
