Does anybody know how the capture procedure works?
There is no code for my cable converter.

I am assuming that your learning memory is full or learning doesn't work for your cable converter. Since it looks like you live in Europe, unless that was Paris, Texas :-), you probably will have to do a device/protocol upgrade with a JP1 cable (if you can't get a telephone upgrade.)

If you do go the JP1 route, then you can just learn the commands and the tools (IR with DecodeIR.dll) will most likely decode the learned signals so you can do a device upgrade. www.hifi-remote.com is the place to start for more information.

While many of the OFA remotes are similar electronically, the built in libraries are tailored for the reigon that they are expected to be used, so it is unlikely that there is a setup code that will match the device/protocol that you need.
