I have the RS 150-2116 remote, and need a working device code for Denon DCM-370 cd player. The man. says to use 0873, this does not work. I tried all the other cd codes (using the manual search feature), and none worked.

Here's the message I got from Radio shack (really ofa) help desk on this issue.

We have found a direct match with the code of 0003. If this is not
accepted
by the remote, this means that this remote will not work for that piece
of
equipment. We do have an upgradeable remote that can be upgraded with
this
code via an internal modem over the phone. The catalog # is 15-2133.

CD/0003 encodes Denon device 8. It is built-in on many UEI remotes, but not the 15-2116 nor the 15-2133.

You can add it yourself via JP1 cable to a 15-2116 (or a 15-2133 if you wanted), or as the help desk suggested you could add it via WAV file (played over a phone from OFA support, since they don't seem willing to provide them over the internet for US models) to the 15-2133 (but not to the 15-2116).

Obviously I suggest getting a JP1 cable, since that's cheaper and better than getting a 15-2133. (And if the help desk turned out to be wrong about CD/0003 a JP1 cable will make it much easier to find the right answer).
