Anyone have other codes for an Onkyo TX-DS747.
Codes I have tried: 0000,0100,0135,0380,0868,1298

So a couple will operate Vol,Surr. None operate Power.
It will not learn Power either. Tried about 10 times.
Confirms learning but it still won't work.
I can train other buttons with no problem.
Don't want to buy the JP1 stuff to find out it won't work....

HELP!!!!

JP1 is a sure thing for you. You can use the 15-2133's learning feature to capture the Onkyo signals, then you can use the JP1 tools to see what the codes are in those signals, then you can build an upgrade that has exactly the functions you want on the buttons you want.

In most cases, however, somebody has already done all the hard work, and has created an upgrade that you can use.

Thanks for the response Rob.
The main problem is that I can't "learn" the power code from my original Onkyo remote. Also, none of the other keys will learn. I was able to learn only "Vol" and "Surr". This was the same as the "Set codes".
Doesn't make any sense... but thats what happens.
Interesting that the only commands that can be "learned" are also the only commmands that work on the "set codes".

Gettin the box and reciept warmed up for a trip back to RS.

I can't explain why your remote can't learn these signals because they are all very standard signals, could it be that the learning memory is already full? You can only learn about 24 buttons before it's full.

Here's a list of the codes used by this device, which guarantees you that you can update it using JP1.

Hey Rob... Thanks for the reply..
I hope you were able to "copy and paste" this list!!!!
I will order the JP1 stuff.

I will clear all codes from the remote to make sure the memory is full before I do the JP1 stuff....

Thanks again!

Blake
